Youth Orchestra Auditions
The Youth Orchestra Auditions are held in conjunction with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Local youth musicians audition for a seat in the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Junior Youth Orchestra. Assisting with the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestras' yearly auditions has been one of the Guild's volunteer activities for years, providing up to 75 volunteers yearly for this effort.
Guild volunteers are needed to greet, work the check-in desk and be a practice room monitor. There are written instructions for each position to keep the auditions running smoothly.
Volunteering for Auditions is a rewarding and fun job. You will have the unique opportunity to meet our wonderful and talented musicians. They truly appreciate the encouragement our volunteers give them.
