Here's your short monthly update from the Guild:

The pandemic could not stop us from holding our Young Artists Competition! On February 13, twelve finalists competed in live performances at Christ Lutheran Church.

Our gratitude to the Charlotte Symphony, our esteemed adjudicators, generous volunteers, parents, teachers, accompanists and our host Christ Lutheran Church is immeasurable! And none of this could have happened without the leadership of our Education Committee headed by Adam Marino, with special thanks to Guild members Linda Weisbruch and Lisa Phillips who were the principal organizers.

Our Heart of the Home Tour fundraiser has been tentatively rescheduled for fall. However, we have a NEW fundraiser scheduled for May 20. Read all about it by clicking the link to our TopGolf event. It's an outdoors event with COVID protocols in place and you can participate even if you've never before had a golf club in your hands. There's an Early Bird discount available until March 15, so sign up now for yourself, your family or business clients you want to entertain! If you don't wish to play, there are also sponsorship opportunities for you or a business you might ask.

Thanks to all who participated in the Charlotte Symphony's organizational assessment questionnaire. We had 37 respondents. This is valuable input to the CSO's strategic planning process.

Congrats to new member Wendy Azrak who was a recent winner in WDAV's Tuesday Trivia contest. It will also be a show of support for our wonderful 24/7 classical music station that has been a loyal partner to the Guild in so many ways.
