Hello Fellow Guild Members!

The past two months have been busy with many great opportunities to not only support the work
of The Guild and the Charlotte Symphony but also to gather with our fellow Guild members.

Winter Membership Meeting

Our annual Winter Meeting was held on February 22 at Rooster's in SouthPark. CSO Musician, Jeremy Lamb, performed and gave a Q&A session. Photos can be seen HERE.

Members brought donations of jewelry and sterling silver items to our Shimmer and Shine Fundraiser, which raised over $3,000 for Guild projects.

Heart of the Home Tour

The Heart of the Home Tour featuring six amazing homes was a huge success! Thank you to the committees and volunteers who worked hard to make our 7th annual signature fundraiser such a well-attended and profitable event, raising over $35,000. We appreciate the support received from the CSO, our sponsors, and social media outreach.

Music Director Commission Fund

The Symphony Guild of Charlotte welcomes Kwame' Ryan, new CSO Music Director Designate. We are launching the Music Director Commission Fund to support his goal of bringing enrichment to the artistic vision and impact that the symphony has in the Charlotte community.

Patron Reception

Our annual Patron Reception will be held at Circa in SouthPark on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 pm for our Patron members. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather with Patron members who have contributed significantly to The Guild!

New Member Brunch

The Membership Committee is hosting a New Member Brunch with
special guest, Christopher James Lees, CSO Resident Conductor on Sunday, April 28 from 10:00 am - Noon at The Junior League of Charlotte. Register HERE.

Wine Raffle 2024

The Guild is hosting a Wine Raffle as a fundraiser to support the

MEMBER APPRECIATION + RECOGNITION OF JEREMY LAMB

The Guild's Annual Member Appreciation event will be held on May 17th after Holst's The Planets concert at Belk Theater in the Donor Lounge. Jeremy Lamb will be honored for his written piece "A Ride on 'Oumuamua," which will be performed that evening.

Volunteer with the CSO

This winter, the CSO rolled out an exciting array of volunteer activities, which are continuing throughout the spring.

CSYO/CSYP Auditions
The CSO needs Guild volunteers to support CSYO and CSYP auditions on April 20-21 and April 27-28. Sign-up to volunteer HERE.

Project Harmony Concert
Support Project Harmony's upcoming concert on Monday, May 13th at Christ Lutheran Church. Assist by checking in students and families, serving as ushers, and helping with the photo booth.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, performance starts at 6:30 pm.

We have almost completed our 2023 2024 Guild Year and are looking forward to seeing you as
we round up the fiscal year at our Annual Membership Meeting next month on May 14th. More
information will be coming about that meeting soon.
