Don't Forget to Join Us to Celebrate Taylor Marino, solo clarinetist in the CSO's Mozart's Clarinet Concerto on November 19 and 20. We will be celebrating Taylor's performance by hosting a brunch in his honor on Sunday, November 21 at the home of Debbie Abels. Registration information is HERE.

The Beat Beethoven 5K Virtual Race to beat Beethoven's 5th Symphony was a big success during the weekend of November 12-14. There were nearly 100 participants in addition to key sponsors for this fun, second annual fundraising event. Be sure to look for photos of participants on our website's Photo Gallery soon.

Bonus Beat Beethoven Race News! This great fundraiser has received the Gold Award of Excellence by The League of American Orchestras! We are very excited to be recognized for our creative fundraising efforts, especially during the pandemic. Many thanks to Staci Marino and her committee for successfully managing this virtual event. Our chapter will be presented with the award at the League's 2022 National Conference in Los Angeles, June 1-3, 2022.

Vaccination proof will be required for in-person Guild events. We are following the same protocol as the CSO that is set by Atrium Health. Either email a photo copy of your vaccination card to Susan Ramsey or show her your card in-person for record keeping. As an alternative, a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event is acceptable.

The 2021 Holiday Ornament is here! Pick-up a kit for yourself or as a gift or stocking stuffer for someone on your list! We also plan to host a sit-and-stitch in December. (Lizzy any more details about this?) Click HERE for more information.

CSO Background Checks continue as part of their required application process for individuals who want to volunteer at a CSO-sponsored event with children (Young Artists Competition, MPZ, etc). Learn more about their reason for this new policy and how to complete the process to enroll HERE.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon,
