We enjoyed seeing many of you on Zoom for our Winterscape event last week. Special thanks to Richard McKnight for the cocktail demonstration, Betty Seifert for the charcuterie tray instruction and Charlotte Symphony trombonist Tom Burge for providing a musical program he created just for us. And a big thanks to our Membership Committee, chaired by Jenny Tolson, for organizing the party and to Office Administrator Susan Ramsey for pulling it off. If you won a door prize, it's in the mail to you.

The party was not the only good news of the month. The Beat Beethoven virtual 5K event netted $10,432 and our Guild ornament raised $1,670--much needed income with the Heart of the Home Tour on COVID hold. We're grateful to Staci Marino and her Fundraising Committee for the race idea and to Elizabeth Connor Stewart for designing the ornament and holding online stitching classes.

Our Winter Meeting is around the corner. With the vaccine just rolling out, it's not looking good for a luncheon at Bonterra in February as we usually have but we WILL hold a virtual meeting. Watch for details and in the meantime, if you've been hesitant to join us because you're unsure how this Zoom thing works, call Susan in the office for a personal tutorial, 704-525-0522. We want to stay connected with you.

And though we're stuck at home this month, that doesn't mean we have to miss the music. Check out these fabulous options with your Charlotte Symphony:
