October 2020
Fellow Guild Members,

Your October newsletter follows and includes some immediate action items so please take a minute
(literally!) for this quick read.

Beat Beethoven, our virtual 5K race, is off and running. We have 159 participants so far. This mini-fundraiser is vital for the Guild until we can resume regular fundraising.

How can you help?

*Register for the race and run it within your own timeframe, November 6-8. Or, sponsor someone else. Sit it out on the couch and just enjoy the t-shirt, worth the $35 registration fee in itself. Who wants to pass up this fabulous design?
*Sign up as a sponsor or become a sponsor yourself at the $100, $300 or $500+ levels.

The Guild's first annual holiday tree ornament is on sale. The $25 kit includes everything you'll need to embroider this exclusive design by President-Elect Elizabeth Connor Stewart. It will also make a great gift.

BIG NEWS!!!!  The Charlotte Symphony will perform live at Truist Field (The Charlotte Knights stadium downtown) on Saturday, October 24, 7 p.m. Christopher Warren-Green has special Embassy permission to return to the U.S. in order to conduct.

The event has been rigorously vetted for safety and, therefore, only 750 tickets are available so you'll want to put in your order ASAP. Tickets are only $20 for adults and $10 for children
