Hello Fellow Guild Members,
Welcome to PRESTO!, a monthly publication that will keep you up-to-date on what's happening with your Symphony Guild. Look for it mid-month, delivered in whichever way you told us in our recent communications survey that you prefer to hear from the Guild.

Some of you may remember an earlier newsletter with the same name. This is a little different in that the content will simply be a few bullet points, just the headlines of what is going on. It's designed to be read in under a minute. I hope this will make it easy and appealing for you to pause from what you're doing and catch up on Guild news.

Our Fall Meeting will be Tuesday, September 15, 5:30 p.m. Because of the pandemic, we'll again meet via Zoom. We'll be adding a couple of features to add some fun, so be sure to join us. Zoom instructions will follow.

This year, we decoupled our Taste of the Tour Party and Heart of the Home Tour to make the events more manageable. The pandemic caused us to postpone the April party and now the November Home Tour will have to be postponed, too. We're planning to do one or both in spring, 2021.

To tide us over on fundraising, we have several creative ideas. We'll be holding a virtual road race in November; we'll sell sewing kits and have a Sewing Bee to make Guild Christmas ornaments; and we'll seek sponsors for our Young Artists Competition.
