Charlotte Symphony Office Assistance

What: Make donor thank you phone calls; write donor thank you notes; scan and file documents; other duties as needed.

When: Weekdays, morning or afternoon shift. Volunteers may choose their preferred day. Because training is required, this is an ongoing commitment.

How: Volunteer for CSO Office Assistance by emailing Tammy Matula at: tmatula@charlottesymphony.org

Charlotte Symphony Mailings

What: Assist with large direct mail projects. Great attention to detail is required.

When: Throughout the year during the day on weekdays.

How: Look for emails from the Guild that detail opportunities.

Charlotte Symphony Musician Home Hosting

What: The Charlotte Symphony occasionally contracts with out-of-town orchestra musicians who need housing. Your only requirement is to provide access to a private room and bathroom; musicians are responsible for their own food and transportation. Hosts should live within 15 miles of Uptown Charlotte.

When: Throughout the year, including summer.

How: Indicate your interest to Tammy Matula at: tmatula@charlottesymphony.org to be called directly when the Symphony has a need. Please specify home hosting.

CSO Donor Services

What: Partner with a CSO representative in the Donor Lounge before a Classics or Pops concert and during intermission. As a Guild Member, represent our nonprofit organization and assist with welcoming and thanking donors. Volunteers receive two free tickets to the performance as a thank you.
