The Guild's oldest project (over 50 years) is a
concerto competition in the categories of piano, winds, strings and
percussion for area student musicians, grades 7 through 12.
Cash awards are given. Senior Grand Prize winners perform with
the Charlotte Symphony at the Guild's annual Youth Festival.
Junior Grand Prize winners perform with the Charlotte Symphony Youth
Orchestra at their Spring concert.
